- Overseas students must pay fees in full in order to be eligible for acceptance. The Application Fee and Tuition Fee must accompany the Application Form. The Application Fee is non-refundable. Fees must be paid in full by cash, cheque, Visa or Mastercard, money order or wire transfer and should be made payable to:

- Upon receipt of full payment of Tuition Fee and Application Fee, a Letter of Acceptance will be issued.
- Once the student has been accepted by the school and paid the full Tuition Fee, there will be no refund except under the following conditions:
- When a new student is unable to obtain a valid student visa or passport to enter Canada to study at the school, the said student will receive a full refund of tuition fees less the registration fee of CAD$200.
- In order to be eligible for a refund, the student must provide the following:
- A letter in writing requesting a refund, signed by the student
- Proof of a visa rejection issued by the Canadian Embassy or High Commission, or a proof of passport application/extension rejection from local government
- All the original documents including all receipts issued by the school
- If a student is granted a student visa and decides not to study at our school, there will be no tuition refund under any conditions.
There will be no refund under any conditions if the student’s visa application is refused, and he/she does not apply for a refund within 15 months after the student is admitted to our programs.

Here are just a few simple steps to apply!
Send application
- Fill out the McDonald International Academy’s online registration form;
- Email us your most recent scanned report cards/transcripts starting from grade 9 and copy your passport;
- MIA will then look over the application and once approved, MIA will issue the 1st Letter of Acceptance and Tuition Request Letter within 3-4 business days by e-mail
Make payment
- Pay the tuition fees by methods as stated on the Tuition Request then e-mail us the payment receipt.
- Once payment has been received, the office will issue a receipt and the official Letter of Acceptance, which can be used to apply for a Canadian study permit.
Apply for Study Permit and Visa (for international students)
In order to study in Canada, international students will need to apply for a study permit from the Government of Canada using MIA’s official Letter of Acceptance. Application processing times are different depending on the country you are applying from.

Upon approval and receipt of the study permit, please inform MIA as soon as possible to arrange airport pick up and accommodation etc.
