What Is the OSSD?
McDonald International Academy (MIA) The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is the official high school credential granted by the province of Ontario. The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) program – Toronto at MIA follows all Ministry curriculum requirements to ensure students earn a diploma that is recognized across Canada and internationally.
To graduate, students must complete:
30 credits (18 compulsory and 12 elective)
40 hours of community involvement
The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) or literacy course
Two online learning credits (as required by the Ministry)
